Mortal Kombat 11 was released for PC on April 23rd, 2019. It currently has a Metascore of 82 and a user score of 3.2. The game received mostly favorable reviews but appears to have been review bombed due to microtransactions. From Graphics to how close and personal the gameplay feels and OH those FATALITIES!, it truly feels fresh and new and most importantly fair, even to newcomers. The gameplay is slow or as fast as you want it to be. The Towers are back with some nice new twists to keep it interesting and the LOOT is in abundance for character customization, including new move-sets, intros, outfits, and more. Move-sets are pretty easy to master and mk11 also offers a very fun and instructive tutorial to quickly get the hang of things. There are 37 fighters in total (if you bought the Ultimate Edition), including some yesterday icons with the likes of Rambo, Terminator, and even Robocop!. Each character is awesomely recreated and probably some of the best DLC characters I've played within any fighting game. Also, the return of Shang Tsung (also voiced by the original actor) is pretty freaking dope and the perfect touch to re-creating that awesome battle between him and Liu Kang. Arenas look better than ever with loads of stages to choose from, but best yet is the return of STAGE FATALITIES!! making a return from the first MK game and are super brutal. All in all, so much love and attention have gone into this game. NetherRealm has not only outdone the competition but even themselves...just BRILLIANT in every facet. My verdict is a straight 6/5.”
