Story, Setting, and Characters

You play as a park ranger named Henry in the year 1989. You took on the park ranger job to get away from the messiness of your life, but things are about to get messy in these woods. A suspicious event draws you out of your watchtower and into a complicated entanglement wherein choices you make will affect the only relationship you hold dear.

Firewatch Game Features

Firewatch takes place completely in the woods of Wyoming, and those environments have been brought to life in great detail. Lush greenery and dense trees form your path through the narrative.

The story being told in Firewatch actively reacts to your choices. The things you say shape the relationships you have with the rest of the cast, and in turn, forms the outcome.

Characters are voiced by incredible actors such as Cissy Jones from The Walking Dead and Rich Sommer from Mad Men.

The music of Firewatch was created by Chris Remo, the man behind the fantastic music of Gone Home. His score equally enchants and unsettles players as the story unfolds before them.
