Story? - Let's just say that it's so good that it makes you not want to stop playing because you want to know what happens next! Characters? - Each character is unique and has a great voice acting behind them, especially Kassandra! You might even catch yourself having favorites! Landscapes? - Each landscape or place is different, unique, and beautiful in there own way. Combat? - The combat is very interactive and it's not the same every time. You will visit famous Hellenic city-states like Athens, Sparta, Corinth, and Argos.  You'll see the Parthenon in all of its completed glory along with equally massive temples of Apollo, Hera, Zeus, and Hades. You'll visit major Greek islands west of Rhodes like Cephalonia, Mikonos, Kos, Lesbos, Chios, Euboea, Crete, and Cythera.  You'll visit them on board your own Greek Trireme!  With your Trireme, you'll also do battle with Greek Pirates as well as the navies of Athens, Sparta, and Persia. You'll customize your ship with new sails, paint jobs, figureheads, and crews.  Engage enemy ships with your ship's main ram as well as javelins and arrows that you can set alight to burn your enemies.  With the DLC packs, you can even get Greek Fire (historically inaccurate for the time period but still a lot of fun)! You'll use legendary weapons like the Trident of Poseidon, the Sword of Achilles, the Bow of Hades, and the armor of Agamemnon.  You'll fight legendary beasts and monsters (that I won't name here because that would be a major spoiler). With the Legendary addition, you'll visit mythical places like Elysium, Hades, and Atlantis where you will interact with the gods themselves and receive amazing new weapons and armor that literally glow! I've been playing this game for six weeks now and I'm still not done.  It's absolutely amazing, never gets old and there's always something to do.  This is actually my first time playing an Assassin's Creed title and I am just blown away by this game.  I'm not a new gamer either, having played a tonne of games going back to the 80s. I'm a veteran of the Far Cry series (3,4,5 and New Dawn), the Tomb Raider series (2012, Rise of and Shadow of) the Witcher series (II and III) the Crysis Series (Crysis, Warhead, 2 & 3), Skyrim, several Doom titles, several Wolfenstein titles and... well, you get the picture.  I'm not blown away by this game just because it's good and I don't know any better.  I have a great repertoire of gaming experiences to compare this to and honestly, this game goes into my top tier for fantasy which is VERY exclusive. This game is so good that it belongs in the same conversation with Skyrim and The Witcher III.  It puts every Tomb Raider game to absolute shame with its incredible amount of content alone.  It puts every FPS title to shame with its incredible game concept. The naval battles and your ship, in general, are a new thing for me but Ubisoft Montreal hit it out of the park with the naval battles being absolute perfection!  I've spent hours upon hours hunting and sinking enemy ships as I sailed around the Greek archipelago in the Aegean and Ionian Seas.  You learn that Greece was a civilization that was heavily dependent on maritime trade which was why Athens had such an amazingly powerful navy. To top it all off, the game uses characters that actually sound Greek and use proper pronunciation for words like Macedonia (mak-eh-do-NI-a) and Persephone (per-se-PHONE-ee). I've even impressed real Greeks with greetings that I learned from the game and the correct Greek pronunciation of Greek words.  This game definitely gives you a bit of an education in Greek history and language without being overbearing with it. As I said, this game is an absolute masterpiece that even eclipses other masterpieces like The Witcher III and Skyrim in several areas.  Just get the damn game with all of the DLCs and you can thank me later.  See you in a few months!  :D”
